PAMPERING YOUR DENIM

OUR CARE ADVICE

Denim is much more than just a fabric: it's a way of life, a style statement and a timeless symbol of casual elegance.

To preserve the beauty and durability of your favourite denim, proper care is essential.

Discover our tips for looking after your denim so that it retains its shine, comfort and quality over the years.

5 CARE TIPS FOR YOUR DENIM

TIP #1 : WASH CAREFULLY

Washing denim is one of the most critical steps in looking after it. To avoid fading or distorting the fabric, wash your jeans inside out. Use cold or lukewarm water, as hot water can cause the indigo dye to bleed. Avoid mixing your jeans with lighter-coloured clothes in the wash to prevent colour transfer.

TIP #2 : MODERATE WASHING

Denim does not need to be washed after each wear. Excessive washing can damage the fabric and cause premature wear. Wash only when necessary, when stains appear or when your jeans start to lose their shape. You can also use refresher sprays to eliminate odours without washing your jeans.

TIP #3 : AIR DRY

Allow your denim jeans to air-dry. Avoid using the tumble dryer as the heat can damage the fabric fibres and cause shrinkage. Hang your jeans upside down on a hanger or lay them flat to keep their natural shape.

TIP #4 : AVOID IRONING

Denim does not need to be ironed after each wash. As it tends not to crease much, use a low-temperature iron if necessary. Place a thin cloth between the iron and the jeans to avoid direct contact with the fabric.

TIP #5 : EARLY REPAIR

If you notice tears or loose seams, make repairs quickly to prevent problems getting worse. A quick repair will extend the life of your denim jeans and keep them looking like new for longer.
