BUTTON FLY

Five-pocket jeans are a classic and popular style with two front pockets, two back pockets and an additional small front pocket, often located on the right side.

CHAIN STITCHED SEAMS

These seams use a chain of threads to create continuous lines along the seams. They are commonly used to hem the bottom of denim trousers.

DOUBLE STITCHED SEAMS

These seams are the most common in denim manufacturing. They involve two parallel lines of stitching that reinforce the seams, increasing the strength and durability of the jeans.

FLAT-FELLED SEAMS

These are sewn to enclose the raw edges of the fabric to prevent fraying. They are often used on the side seams of jeans.

JACRON

The jacron is a leather or faux leather label sewn into the back of denim trousers. It generally contains information about the brand and may also include details on how to care for the garment.

FRONT POCKETS

Jeans' front pockets are located on the left and right sides of the front of the trousers. They are designed to store small items and add to the functionality and style of denim.

BACK POCKETS

The back pockets of jeans are located at the back of the trousers, usually above the buttocks. They are designed for aesthetic and functional reasons, adding a distinctive touch to the design.

SERGE

Serge has a weaving technique that gives denim its characteristic diagonal pattern. This pattern is created by passing the weft thread over several warp threads at regular intervals. Serge gives denim its unique texture and strength.

CANVAS

Denim is also known as denim canvas because of its tightly woven, hard-wearing structure. This fabric makes denim durable and gives it an authentic look.

WEAR

Denim wear refers to the variations in colour and texture that occur over time when wearing jeans. Many people appreciate the vintage look of denim, making it a unique garment for every individual.

WAISTBAND

The waistband is the upper part of the denim trousers that surrounds the wearer's waist. It is often reinforced for added stability and may have belt loops to allow a belt to be worn.
