FABRIC FOCUS

MANUFACTURING

#1
WOOD PULP EXTRACTION

The process begins with the extraction of wood pulp from sustainable sources such as eucalyptus.

#2
SPINNING AND WEAVING

The wood pulp is dissolved in a solution and spun into lyocell yarn. These yarns are then woven to create light, soft fabrics.

#3
TREATMENT

Lyocell is produced in a closed circuit process, which means that the solvents used are recycled and reused, reducing water consumption and chemical waste.

#4
MANUFACTURE

Lyocell fabrics are then used to create comfortable, elegant garments ranging from lightweight dresses to casual shirts.

CARE

Lyocell pieces can be machine-washed at a low temperature. Use an extra rinse cycle to remove any detergent residue. Lyocell tends to shrink when exposed to excessive heat, so it's best to leave it to air dry. If necessary, iron on the reverse side at a low temperature to avoid damage. We recommend using a thin cloth as a protection between the iron and the fabric.
