Scope 1 and 2 emissions: direct responsibility (fuels, electricity, etc.) were reduced by 80% between 2019 and 2023, primarily due to reductions in energy consumption and renewable energy certificates.

Reduction of Scope 3 emissions between 2019 and 2022

Scope 3 emissions: indirect responsibility (purchases, transport, use of sold products, etc.) were reduced by 28% between 2019 and 2023, primarily due to the increased share of WeCare products in the collection.

Carbon footprint of Maison 123 products in 2023

It represents 25,799 tCO2eq, including 9,297 for fibers, 10,190 for shaping, 797 for raw material procurement, 1,153 for assembly, 3,189 for use, and 1,173 for end-of-life. This is a 31% reduction compared to 2019.

Our ambition: to reduce the impact of our packaging

digital receipts

Since 2020, we have eliminated plastic from our pouches, opting instead for recycled kraft material. Our new e-commerce packaging now contains 30% recycled paper, reducing the weight of our packaging by a factor of 4.

We are committed to eliminating all sourcing of textile fibers and paper from ancient and endangered forests. Today, 100% of our store bags are made from FSC-certified mixed paper, a blend of recycled paper and paper from sustainably managed forests.

Since 2016, we have consistently offered our customers digital receipts to reduce paper consumption and waste production. In 2021, 70% of receipts were digital.
